For boards and investors
Operating capability for boards, shareholders and investors.
Boards and investors do not usually lack analysis. What they lack is senior operating capability that can be deployed quickly, discreetly and with real accountability for the outcome.
Boards, shareholders and investors carry responsibility for outcomes they cannot deliver directly. When performance slips, a chief executive leaves, an investment underperforms or a transaction has to be tested quickly, the requirement is the same: experienced operators who can get inside a business, form an honest view, and then do the work rather than describe it.
Insprie is built for those mandates. We work as operators rather than reviewers, we report in plain commercial terms, and we are comfortable holding executive responsibility while a permanent structure is settled.
Mandates we are asked to take.
Leadership gaps
A resignation, a departure or a role that has outgrown its occupant leaves the board carrying operational risk. We place experienced operators into the seat quickly, on an interim or fractional basis, while the permanent answer is worked out properly.
Underperformance
When results miss repeatedly, the board needs an independent read of why, not a restatement of the plan. We establish what is actually constraining performance and what would have to change for the numbers to move.
Transformation and 100-day plans
A transformation only holds if someone owns the sequence, the cadence and the reporting. We build the plan with management, then stay involved through the first hundred days so the change survives contact with the operation.
Commercial due diligence
Operator-led diligence tests the commercial claims that matter: demand quality, channel economics, supply reliability and the true cost of scaling. We work to transaction timetables and report in plain terms.
Post-investment operating support
The value case usually depends on operational change rather than a thesis. We work inside the business after completion to deliver the specific improvements the investment assumed.
Governance and board alignment
Where management and the board disagree about what happens next, the disagreement is usually about information and decision rights. We reset reporting, cadence and accountability so the board can govern on evidence.
Confidentiality.
Most board-level work cannot be discussed openly while it is happening. We operate under confidentiality as a matter of course, publish experience only in anonymised form, and use a separate channel for matters that cannot pass through an ordinary enquiry form.
